Kematian rakyat Iraq sehingga 17.08.2009

"The Bush administration invaded Iraq in March 2003 with a force of approximately 130,000 troops. Top White House and Pentagon officials like Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz were convinced that, by August, those troops, welcomed with open arms by the oppressed Iraqis, would be drawn down to 30,000-40,000 and housed in newly built, permanent military bases largely away from the country's urban areas. This was to be part of what now is called a "strategic partnership" in the Middle East."

Agak pelik juga dalam menyebut peranan orang-orang kanan dalam pentadbiran George W Bush di Rumah Putih dan di Jabatan Pertahanan (Pentagon), nama Paul Wolfowitz yang disebut pada hal Wolfowitz sekadar memegang jawatan Timbalan Setiausaha Pertahanan di bawah Donald Rumsfeld. Ini kerana Wolfowitzlah dari golongan neoconservatives yang berpihak kuat kepada zionis Israel dalam pentadbiran Bush. Beliaulah orangnya yang begitu lantang bersuara dan bertindak menerusi AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) beriya-iya supaya Amerika menyerang Iraq dengan perbagai alasan tanpa bukti asalkan sesuatu yang boleh di terima oleh rakyat Amerika dalam keadaan trauma akibat insiden serangan keatas World Trade Center dan Pentagon pada 9-11-2001.

Dalam keterangannya kepada Majlis Keselamatan Negara selapas 9-11, beliau berkata "Why shouldn't we go against Iraq, not just al-Queda? (Iraq) was a little brittle, oppressive regime that might break easily - it was doable." Sebenarnya, tindakan menyerang Iraq adalah berasaskan kepada satu kertas penilaian doktrin yang ditulis oleh, antara lain, Wolfowitz sendiri untuk parti Likud Israel dibawah pimpinan Benyamin Nethanyahu yang kemudiannya di tukar tajuk kepada Project for the New American Century (PNAC) doktrin pentadbiran Bush.

Walaupun pada awalnya Amerika menafikan sebab menyerang Iraq bukan kerana minyak, empat bulan selepas serangan haram itu Wolfowitz memberitahu Kongres Amerika pada Mac 27, 2003, bahawa Amerika sebenarnya "dealing with a country that can really finance its own reconstruction, and relatively soon." He added that Iraq's oil revenues could "bring between $50 billion and $100 billion over the course of the next two or three years."

Amat jelas dari bukti-bukti yang nyata dan dari kenyataan beliau sendiri, Paul Wolfowitz adalah orang yang bertanggungjawab keatas serangan haram keatas sebuah negara berdaulat, Iraq, yang tidak berdosa yang turut mengakibatkan berjuta rakyatnya mati, cedera, didera dan kini hidup dalam serba kekurangan dan penderitaan semata-mata melaksanakan perancangan zionis Israel memalui proksinya USA.

Latah & Amok

Kalau diterjemahkan ke Bahasa Melayu, ungkapan di atas oleh Voltaire, seorang ahli falsafah Perancis yang terkenal ianya mungkin berbunyi saperti berikut:-

"Mereka yang boleh membuat anda percaya pada perkara karut boleh membuat anda lakukan kekejaman".

Saya terfikir akan ungkapan ini tatkala melihat telatah orang Melayu yang berdemo menentang Akta Keselamatan Dalam Negeri (ISA). Tak tahulah berapa banyak antara mereka ini yang keluarga atau kawan pernah atau sedang di tahan di bawah akta ini. Kalau melihat pada senarai yang terdapat di laman web Aliran, setakat 13.05.2009 seramai 17 orang di tahan, 10 disyaki ahli Jemaah Islamiah, 5 terlibat dengan pemalsuan dokumen. Dua orang adalah warga Indonesia.

Kecuali seorang berbangsa Cina, selainnya adalah orang Melayu Islam. Patutlah ramai Melayu dari bangsa lain yang berdemo. Saya tak percaya semua yang berdemo adalah ahli keluarga mereka yang ditahan tetapi mereka yang samada bersimpati dengan tahanan atau di buat cerita karut tentang kezaliman menahan orang tanpa bukti yang boleh didakwa di makkamah.

Tetapi saya tidak percaya orang Melayu yang berdemo menuntut supaya ISA dimasuhkan sebenarnya berdemo kerana tujuan itu walaupun penganjurnya memberi alasan itu. Saperti kata Voltaire, mereka telah dihasut dengan cerita-cerita karut yang bermacam-macam dan berterusan sehingga rekaan menjadi kebenaran. Saya ingin memetik seorang lagi yang kalau tidak 'famous' pun, pastinya 'infamous' iaitu Adolf Hitler. Katanya "Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they (the people) will believe it." Strategi ini telah digunakan dengan jayanya oleh mantan presiden Amerika Syarikat George W Bush untuk meraih sokongan rakyat Amerika menyerang Iraq. Beliau telah berbohong yang Iraq mempunyai senjata nuklear dan kaitan dengan al-Queda dalam peristiwa 9-11.

Ada dua sifat orang Melayu yang unik dan diterima pakai masyarakat dunia iaitu latah dan amok. Malahan perkataan amok atau 'amuck' telah menjadi perbendaharaan kata Inggeris.

Orang Melayu sekarang sering dicucuk supaya melatah sehingga sanggup baring depan kereta Anak Raja.

Adakah kita akan lihat pula orang Melayu mengamok?

Kalau anda fikir 'special relationship' hanya wujud antara USA dan Israel anda perlu fikir semula. Sebenarnya, special relationship ini juga wujud bukan saja antara USA dan Malaysia tetapi berbentuk segitiga, USA-Israel-Malaysia.

Panjang ceritanya. Untuk memahaminya dan supaya tiba ke arahtuju bukti kenyataan di atas, kita kena mula di sini.

Gambar yang di paparkan ialah Larry Franklin, bekas analis pengkhususan Iran, Syria dan pertubuhan Hasbollah di bawah pentadbiran George W Bush. Bosnya di Pentagon pada ketika itu ialah Douglas Feith dan Paul Wolfowitz, kedua-duanya Yahudi. Ingat nama dua-dua ni.

Pada Oktober 2005, Larry Franklin telah mengaku salah atas tuduhan menyampai rahsia sensitif kerajaan USA kepada dua orang kanan American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) sebuah pertubuhan lobi Yahudi di USA yang berhubungan rapat dengan parti Likud Israel. Franklin telah di kenakan 13 tahun penjara tetapi kemudiannya di kurangkan ke 100 hari khidmat sosial.

The Raw Story pada 29 Julai telah memetik wawancara akbar Washington Times dengan Franklin di mana Franklin mendedahkan beliau telah di soal oleh FBI mengenai semua orang Yahudi dalam pentadbiran Bush. Menurutnya lagi, tujuan sebenar FBI ialah untuk memerangkap Douglas Feith dan Paul Wolfowitz yang dipercayai mengintip untuk Israel.

Siapakah Dougles Feith dan Paul Wolfowitz? Apa pula kaitanya dengan special relationship dengan Malaysia?

10 Sins Of Democracy

This is a brief review which explains some of the destructive and dangerous effects resulting from plunging into the quagmire of democracy by which many people have been deceived due to putting on their hopes on it even though it is clearly against the methodology of Allah, just as what we are going to explain in this brief study, especially that there have been a lot of bitter experiences encountered by those people who have been deceived by this game and where its diversion and debauchery aspects were shown.

1. This system makes us forgetful towards the confrontation in behavior between the jahiliyah and Islam, between the haq dan batil, because the existence of either one of them allows the extinction of the other, it is not ever possible for the two to mix together. Anyone who thinks that through the general election, the jahilliyah fractions will submit all the institutions to Islam is mistaken as this is clearly in contrast to the rationality, nash and sunan (decision of Allah) which had taken place to the earlier ummahs.

"On account of their arrogance in the land and their plotting of Evil, but the plotting of Evil will hem in only the authors thereof. Now are they but looking for the way the ancients were dealt with? But no change wilt thou find in Allah's way (of dealing): no turning off wilt thou find in Allah's way (of dealing)" (Surat Faathir: 43)

2. The system of democracy will cause the decay in the values of true aqeedah which was believed and practiced by Rasulullah SAW and the noble Sahabahs. It will cause the spread of bid'ah, of not studying and teaching the true aqeedah to mankind because its teachings cause divisions amongst the party members. In fact, it could make someone to be excluded from the party that it can reduce the total number of votes and voters.

3. The system of democracy does not differentiate between the ‘alim and the jahil, between the mu’meen and the kafir, and between the male and the female, because they all have the same right to speak, without looking at the advantages from the shar'i point of view, whereas Allah Ta'ala says:

"...Say: "Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know? ..." (Surat Az-Zumar: 9)

And Allah Ta'ala says:

"Is then the man who believes no better than the man who is rebellious and wicked? Not equal are they" (Surat As-Sajdah: 18)

And Allah Ta'ala says: "Shall We then treat the People of Faith like the People of Sin? What is the matter with you? How judge ye?" (Surat Al-Qalam: 35-36)

4. This system causes divisions amongst the da’wah activists and Islamic jamaah, because a section of them plunge and move within this system (whether they want it or not) that would make them support and defend as well as endeavor to make a good name and in turn they would be against anyone who is opposed by this system, while at the same time they support as well as defend anyone who is supported and defended by this system. Therefore, in the end fatwas would be twisted without any certainty between those who allow and forbid, between those who praise and criticize.

5. Under the shade of democratic system the issue of wala' and bara' becomes unclear and vague and because of this there are people who embrace and are involved in this system trying to justify by stating that their discords with the socialist party, baathist party and other secular parties are only limited to discords in the subject of program only, not a discord in the subject of manhaj and that it is not much different from the discords that happen between the four madzhabs. And they conducted the bond of agreement and confederation so as not to takfeer each other and not to betray amongst themselves, due to that they say that let there be discords but don’t let it spoil the love and affection between us!!

6. This system aims at the establishment of an illusive confederation with the secular parties, as what is happening today.

7. It’s very dominant that for the people who move in the quagmire of democracy, their intention is flawed, as every party strives and aims to defend its party as well as (abusing) making the most of all available facilities and tools to assemble and influence the masses in its surroundings, especially the tools and mediums which have the religious tones such as talks, giving of advices, ta'lim, shadaqah and others.

8. Plunging into the quandary of democracy will also result in the impairment of the noble akhlaq values such as honesty, transparency, the fulfillment of promises and the prevention of lies, pretension and the breaking of promises.

9. Therefore, democracy would also generate a haughty character while belittling others, as well as being proud of each of their own view because what turns into the concern is the defending of it (the view). And Allah Ta'ala says:

"But people have cut off their affair (of unity), between them, into sects: each party rejoices in that which is with itself" (Surat Al-Mukminun: 53)

10. If we pay a close attention and thorough analyzation, acknowledging and pledging to democracy means “stabbing” (blaspheming) the Prophets and their discourse (missions of Prophethood), because if al-haq (the truth) is to be deduced from the voice of the people’s majority there is no point for the Messengers to be sent and the books to be revealed, especially that it’s normal for the teachings brought by the Messengers to dispute the majority of the mankind who profess to the misguided aqeedah, deviate and have the jahilliyah traditions.

Screwed and Screwed Again.

Unless you are a masochist or you are into the thing of the people of S&G, getting constantly screwed is never a nice experience.

Consider the experiences of the people in KTM Berhad (formerly knows as KTM). Getting screwed or receiving the short end of the straw has become something normal and to be expected. A case in point was the famous (infamous) offer made by the government to dispose of the entity for 1 ringgit during the Mahathir/Daim era. This decision though made necessary to emphasize the worsening situation KTM was in then, it did not consider the demoralizing effect on the people in KTM and their families having to endure the brunt of the jokes and sarcasms within and outside the community.

Next came the short lived supposed takeover of KTM by the consortium under Renong known as Marak Unggul. How they came and what they did will forever be etched in the memory of those who came under their blitz. From the senior management to the menial worker none were spared. People were asked to leave unconditionally or so humiliated, some left on their own accord. Work rules and procedures were upheaved to bring about so-called efficiency. Critical maintenance of infrastructures and assets such as the tracks and rolling stocks were curtailed and essential spares ordered were cancelled. The list goes on and on. Again, it was the people in KTM and their families that were affected. Again, nobody gave a shit!

Every time our people got screwed they (the people doing the screwing) left a lot of shit behind (no pun intended). It was left to us to do the cleanup and it took a lot of effort to boost the morale of people that had been stamped on.

As was with the case of Renong/Marak Unggul, it took a railwayman himself to assume and resume the burden of putting things back to normalcy. First it was Dato' Salleh Abdullah and then was succeeded by Dato' Abdul Radzak, railwaymen both. Salleh in a way succeeded in tackling the shit caused by the cutbacks in maintenance but the shit was so great that he was overwhelmed. No thanks to the people who sat on the Board. When Radzak took over, he focused on the oft heralded important asset but seldom given the importance it deserves, the human asset, the people, the railwaymen.

Then, KTM got screwed again.

Radzak's two year contract was halved by the Ministry of Finance for no apparent reason whatsoever. It seems the Chairman (who resigned when Radzak was appointed but still harbored the post) and some members of the Board didn't like him. Screw the railwaymen and RUM (Railwayman Union of Malaya) and all those who came out in his support. Why the sudden interest to sit on the Board of KTMB? The former Chairman the late Tan Sri Selvarajah held the post till he passed away, kind of personal to holder to him. Suddenly, there was this interest in being on the Board. Why?

After a protest by RUM, KTMB is now managed by a Exco comprising three Board members pending a new MD. Obviously, three heads are better than one.

Meantime, screw the railwaymen.

The Ooze of Piety - Peace Be Upon You?

After the obligatory I-am-honored-to-be-here yada yada, President Obama, speaking in Cairo, gave a peace greeting in Arabic: “Assalamu Aleikum.”

Perhaps, as these words were heard around the globe, a US drone was incinerating civilians in Pakistan or Afghanistan while a smart bomb, targeting a “terrorist safe house” in Iraq, melted children who were playing soccer.

During 55 minutes, the length of Obama’s speech, a hell of a lot of shocks and awes can be unleashed.

Certainly, in the amount of time required to call for a “new beginning between the United States and the Muslim world,” a detainee could contemplate suicide--could commit suicide.

And in the moments it took Obama to reference the Koran, quoting: “Be conscious of and speak always the truth,” a general could decide to lie about fratricide.

When the president said: “I am aware that some question or justify the events of 9/11, but let us be clear--al Qaeda killed nearly 3,000 people on that day,” I went back to the date, remembering the fear, the horror, and the weeks and months that followed, the demand for revenge and the invasion and occupation of Afghanistan. And I also remembered the deceitful plot, the Bush/Cheney disaster, to connect Iraq to al Qaeda. Yes, 3000 people died on September 11, 2001 and, now, almost eight years later, in two countries, 5000 coalition troops have lost their lives and in Iraq, alone, the country that Bush and Cheney were determined, prior to 9/11, to conquer, over a million civilians have died.

Expressing his knowledge of Islamic history and culture, Obama said it is his “responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.” And he lectured that:

The same principle must apply to Muslim perceptions of America. Just as Muslims do not fit a crude stereotype, America is not the crude stereotype of a self-interested empire.

During the minutes Obama spoke about 9/11, the rich fabric of Islam, and his denial that the USA is a “self-interested empire, people in countries affected by our very sophisticated weapons of imperialism are dying, their loved ones stricken with grief remaining with them as long as they live.

And as he sermonized about America’s respect for the “sovereignty of nations and the rule of law,” and referred to “extremists,” I thought of the egregious crimes of war, including torture, committed by Bush and Company, and, now, continued by Obama. In the time required for the president to expose the hypocrisy of this country, George Bush, a free criminal who may never be held accountable, could have walked around his exclusive Dallas neighborhood several times, carrying a plastic bag to pick up Barney’s shit.

At some point, Obama talked tension--between Israelis and Palestinians. “Palestinians must abandon violence,” he said. “Hamas must put an end to violence.” Nothing to Israel about their attempted genocide of the Palestinian people, using weapons made by the US.

And as he spoke, American-made violence continues its savage march in multiple countries.

In 55 minutes, an orator can give a passionate speech, using soaring rhetoric. I couldn’t finish reading it, though. The ooze of piety was giving me a headache.

But as I closed the page, I thought: Assalamu Aleikum. Peace be upon you. Please, peace.

Korea Selatan & Israel - Dua Keberanian yang Berbeda

Harijadi saya dan Mek Nab tahun ini pada 25hb Mei sungguh bermakna sekali.  Tak tahulah tentang Mek Nab tapi pada saya memang iya.  Pada hari itu Korea Utara (DPRK) berjaya menguji senjata nuklear mereka.  Di laporkan ujian itu adalah sebesar 10-20 megaton sama saperti bom-bom nuklear yang digugurkan oleh Amerika ke atas Hiroshima dan Nagasakai pada tahun 1945.

Selepas ujian nuklear itu, Korea Utara menguji pula beberapa peluru berpandu jarak dekat dan sederhana.

Mata dunia kini berpaling ke arah Korea Utara.  Ini membuat Israel tidak senang.  Pada Israel tumpuan dunia hendaklah sentiasa ke arah Iran dan ‘niat’ Iran untuk memperolehi senjata nuklear.  Untuk itu Israel telah mengadakan latiihan menghadapai peperangan yang terbesar di negara zionist itu.  Sementara itu, kenyataan tentang hasratnya untuk bertindak unilateral ke atas Iran walaupun tanpa bantuan atau sokongan Amerika di teruskan dan di perhebatkan.

Riaksi daripada Amerika dan kuncu-kuncunya yang di gelarkan sebagai komuniti dunia dan komuniti antarabangsa adalah sepertimana yang di duga.  Mereka tidak boleh terima Korea Utara bernuklear dan akan mengambil langkah-langkah ke arah ini.  Mereka juga akan mengenakan sekatan yang lebih berat ke atas Korean Utara.

Amerika memaksa negara hambanya Korea Selatan supaya bersetuju menaiki dan menahan mana-mana kapal Korea Utara yang di dakwa membawa muatan larangan.  Riaksi Korea Utara tidak di duga oleh mereka.  Korea Utara mengeluarkan kenyataan bahawa sebarang tindakan menaiki dan menahan kapal-kapalnya di anggap sebagai tindakan perang (act of war).  Selain itu, Korea Utara membatalkan Perjanjian Genjatan Senjata mengakhiri Perang Korea. Perang Korea sebenarnya tidak berakhir cuma di tangguh dan akan di teruskan semula.

Apa riaksi kebanyakan rakyat Korea Selatan terhadap ancaman Korea Utara ini? Tidak aneh kalau mereka menganggap ancaman itu biasa saja.  Tak ada pun sebarang histiria.

Amat berbeda dengan zionist Israel.

Satu bancian penduduk Yahudi Israel mengenai kemungkinan Iran mempunyai senjata nuklear mendapati 23% penduduknya akan meninggalkan negara itu.  Inilah keberanian sebenar rakyat zionist Israel.  Keberanian yang di tunjuk hanya keatas merekan yang tidak mempunyai senjata sesuai untuk melawan saperti rakyat Palestin dan Lebanon.  Itu pun perlu di kenakan berbagai sekatan dan penindasan untuk melemahkan mereka sabelum diserang.  Serangan pula di lakukan keatas mereka yang tidak mampu melawan saperti wanta dan anak-anak.

Dengan musuh yang berupaya melawan saperti Iran mereka nak cabut lari.

US dan Europe khususnya UK sangat risau dengan kemungkinan kedatangan pelarian baru hampir dua juta ini dari Israel dan itulah sebab utamanya Amarika dan sekutunya ingin mempastikan Iran tidak mempunyai senjata nuklear. Jumlah orang Yahudi yang sedia ada di negara-negara mereka sudah banyak menimbulkan pelbagai masaalah dan tambahan pelarian baru ini akan pasti membawa kepada masaalah yang lagi besar.
